A retail pharmacy is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to provide coverage from September 4 to 21. This per diem opportunity offers the chance to work in a fast-paced retail setting, delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care to the local community.
Location: McCloud, CA (Mount Shasta area)
Schedule:
- September 4 – 21
- 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM daily
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
- Provide patient counseling on proper medication use and potential side effects
- Verify prescriptions for completeness and appropriateness
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and pharmacy policies
- Manage inventory and ensure medication safety within the pharmacy
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active California Pharmacist License
- Recent experience working as a Pharmacist in a retail environment
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical practices and laws
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
