Staff Pharmacist in Mckeesport, PA

A part-time staff pharmacist position is available in a retail pharmacy setting, offering 20-24 hours per week with additional vacation coverage. This opportunity is ideal for pharmacists skilled in retail pharmacy operations who are familiar with the demands of a busy prescription volume.

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, pharmacy hours 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Shifts available: 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM or 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Peak prescription times from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
• Closed on weekends

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense approximately 300 prescriptions daily
• Provide exceptional customer service during high-volume periods
• Utilize Pioneer Rx pharmacy system for daily operations
• Maintain compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Assist with vacation coverage to ensure consistent pharmacy operations

• Previous retail pharmacy experience is required
