A specialty pharmacy in Memphis, TN is seeking a motivated Staff Pharmacist with a strong work ethic and a desire to grow professionally within the company. This contract-to-hire position offers the unique opportunity to advance toward partial ownership by demonstrating commitment and expertise.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage comprehensive pharmaceutical care for patients with conditions such as hemophilia, immune deficiencies, autoimmune disorders, and other diseases requiring infused medications.
  • Apply therapy-specific knowledge in handling factor replacement therapies, emicizumab, and a range of subcutaneous and IV infusions for chronic illnesses.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on complex drug administration techniques, side effect management, medication adherence, and safe handling of infused drugs at home.
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and internal care coordinators to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Work alongside reimbursement specialists to navigate insurance plans, secure prior authorizations, and access financial assistance resources.
  • Utilize Caretend software (training provided) to support pharmacy operations.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Tennessee Pharmacist License is required; candidates open to obtaining additional state licenses are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience with Caretend software is a significant advantage but not mandatory.
  • Strong clinical and communication skills to manage patient education and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
