Staff Pharmacist | Memphis, Tennessee

This Specialty Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist eager to grow professionally within a supportive environment, with a unique opportunity to potentially become a partial owner in the future. Responsibilities include:

• Providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care for patients with hemophilia, immune deficiencies, autoimmune disorders, and other conditions requiring infused medications.
• Managing therapies involving factor replacement, emicizumab, and a variety of subcutaneous and IV infusions specific to chronic illnesses.
• Educating patients and families on medication administration, potential side effects, adherence strategies, and safe home handling practices.
• Collaborating closely with healthcare providers such as physicians, nurses, and care coordinators to ensure optimal patient care.
• Assisting patients in navigating benefits and insurance plans alongside reimbursement specialists to facilitate prior authorizations and financial assistance.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Tennessee Pharmacist License is required.
• Experience with CareTend software is highly advantageous; training can be provided for the right candidate.
• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses is a plus.
• Strong work ethic and a proactive mindset geared toward long-term growth within the company.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

This role involves very low pharmacy volume, allowing for focused, patient-centered service within a specialty pharmacy setting.
