Staff Pharmacist in Memphis, TN

A specialty pharmacy in the Memphis area is seeking a motivated Staff Pharmacist to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity for newer graduates or pharmacists eager to grow their expertise in a supportive environment with low prescription volume and specialized patient care. Responsibilities include:

• Delivering comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients with hemophilia, immune deficiencies, autoimmune disorders, and other conditions requiring infused medications
• Managing factor replacement therapies, emicizumab, and a variety of subcutaneous and IV infusions for chronic illness management
• Educating patients and families on drug administration techniques, side effect management, adherence, and medication safety at home
• Collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and internal care coordinators to ensure seamless patient care
• Assisting with insurance navigation, prior authorizations, and financial assistance alongside reimbursement specialists

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Tennessee Pharmacist License (open to obtaining additional state licenses)
• Pharmacy degree from an accredited program
• Experience with CareTend software is highly preferred; training is available
• Strong work ethic and a desire to learn and develop clinical knowledge within specialty pharmacy

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
