Per Diem Retail Staff Pharmacist - Mesa, Arizona

Join a growing pharmacy team supporting multiple locations across the greater Phoenix area in a per diem pharmacist role. This opportunity is ideal for experienced retail pharmacists seeking flexible, part-time work covering vacations, call-outs, and volume fluctuations at food and pharmacy retail sites.

Location: Mesa, AZ (with other nearby sites in the greater Phoenix area)

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Saturday
• Typically 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., with some locations open until 8:00 p.m.
• Flexible shifts, part-time availability preferred (2–4 days/week)
• Shifts scheduled as needed for coverage

Responsibilities:

• Fill prescriptions and provide patient counseling in a retail food and pharmacy environment
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and manage pharmacist-only sites as required
• Participate in a training program to become familiar with QS1 pharmacy management software
• Maintain immunization privileges and provide vaccinations as authorized
• Ensure compliance with all safety and operational protocols

Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist in Arizona with no restrictions
• Minimum 1-2 years retail pharmacy experience; 2+ years preferred
• Immunization certification and current BLS card required
• Experience with QS1 software is a plus but not mandatory
• Ability to commit to a training program prior to starting shifts
