Per Diem Staff Pharmacist - Mesa, AZ

An opportunity is available for a PRN Pharmacist to support a community clinical pharmacy specializing in sterile and non-sterile compounding in Mesa, AZ. This per diem role offers the chance to contribute to a pharmacy dedicated to creating custom medications, working closely with healthcare providers to develop personalized therapies and provide clinical consulting for patients requiring specialized treatments.

• Mesa, Arizona

Role Summary:

• Support sterile (503A) and non-sterile compounding operations
• Utilize PioneerRx pharmacy system for daily workflow
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care
• Work in a fast-paced environment focused on personalized medication therapies

Schedule (Per Diem / PRN Dates):

• April 13th, May 26th, May 28th, June 1st
• Shift hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Arizona Pharmacist License
• Experience in compounding (either sterile or non-sterile)
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities independently
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense compounded medications with adherence to quality standards
• Review prescriptions for clinical appropriateness and provide patient counseling as needed
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Maintain thorough documentation and inventory management
