This position is for a Staff Pharmacist to provide coverage for a medical leave, supporting a busy pharmacy environment. The role requires dedication to accuracy, safety, and exceptional patient care while managing prescription dispensing and medication fills. This contract opportunity runs for approximately 2+ months, with a Monday to Friday schedule and typical hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, potentially shifting to 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately fill and dispense prescription medications in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Manage inventory and maintain proper labeling and documentation.
  • Provide thorough medication counseling to patients as needed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Uphold pharmacy policies and maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

  • Valid pharmacy license in good standing from any state.
  • 1-2 years of professional experience as a pharmacist.
  • Federal clearance preferred, enhancing eligibility for certain assignments.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
