Staff Pharmacist in Middletown, NY

This opportunity is for a Staff Pharmacist to provide coverage during a medical leave in a hospital setting. The position offers typical weekday hours, Monday through Friday, primarily from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with some shifts potentially beginning at 6:00 AM and ending at 2:30 PM. The assignment is expected to last for at least two months on a contract basis.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and dispense medications according to prescriptions and hospital protocols
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to pharmacy practice
• Maintain detailed records of medication distribution and inventory
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient care

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid state pharmacy license in good standing from any state
• 1 to 2 years of professional pharmacist experience required
• Federal clearance is preferred to support secure healthcare environments
