Staff Pharmacist - Milford, Ohio

A healthcare facility in need of a licensed Ohio pharmacist with hospital experience is seeking a dedicated professional to provide pharmaceutical care during night shifts. This role offers a unique schedule of 7 nights on followed by 7 nights off, working from 8:00 PM to 7:30 AM, starting June 1st for a 13-plus week contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, interpret, and accurately dispense medication orders and prescriptions.
• Monitor and manage patient medication therapy to ensure effectiveness and appropriateness.
• Maintain compliance with departmental policies, quality programs, and regulatory standards.
• Communicate drug information clearly to patients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Participate in drug therapy management during medical emergencies.
• Coordinate daily pharmacy technician activities to support patient care and departmental efficiency.
• Uphold organizational mission and service values including empathy, integrity, stewardship, agility, and teamwork.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Bachelor of Science or PharmD degree from an accredited American College of Pharmacy.
• Valid Ohio Pharmacy License in good standing.
• Minimum of one year hospital pharmacy experience preferred.

Schedule:

• Thursday night through Wednesday night, 8:00 PM – 7:30 AM.
