A hospital-based pharmacist role is available for dedicated professionals with a valid Ohio Pharmacy license and hospital experience. This position offers a structured schedule of 7 nights on, 7 nights off, working evening shifts from 8:00 PM to 7:30 AM, starting June 1st, for a duration of approximately 13 weeks. Located in a hospital setting, the role involves comprehensive pharmaceutical care, ensuring medication safety and effectiveness, and collaborating with healthcare teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, interpret, process, and accurately dispense medication orders.
  • Monitor and manage patient medication therapies for therapeutic appropriateness.
  • Maintain pharmacy policies, procedures, and quality improvement records.
  • Provide drug information and education to patients, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Participate in emergency drug therapy management and ensure adequate medication supplies.
  • Coordinate pharmacy technician activities to support departmental needs.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science or PharmD degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
  • Active and valid Ohio Pharmacy License in good standing.
  • Minimum one year hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with healthcare teams and patients.
  • Commitment to ethical practice, patient-centered care, and ongoing professional development.

Schedule:

  • Night shift: Thursday night through Wednesday night
  • 7 days on, 7 days off
  • 8:00 PM to 7:30 AM
