Staff Pharmacist

Looking for a pharmacist role with a consistent weekday schedule and no compounding experience required? We're hiring Closed Door Production Pharmacists for a fast paced closed door 503A/B pharmacy that specializes in GLP1 medications, etc. in the prescription fulfillment process, with an immediate start available. Retail pharmacists are encouraged to apply!

Position Details

• 13 week contract with strong temp to perm potential
• 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• $60 - $65/hr; Weekly pay
• Full time benefits such as medical, dental, vision, etc.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the prescription fulfillment process while ensuring compliance with all pharmacy regulations and company policies
• Perform accurate Drug Utilization Reviews (DUR) and maintain complete documentation
• Communicate with patients, providers, and pharmacy staff to resolve prescription-related issues
• Monitor and manage pharmacy inventory
• Package and prepare prescriptions for shipment, including refrigerated and specialty medications
• Utilize LifeFile and PK Software to support daily workflow

Requirements

• Active Texas Pharmacist License
• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacist experience
• Ability to thrive in a high volume closed-door pharmacy environment
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
