A retail/community pharmacy is seeking two full-time Staff Pharmacists for contract positions in Moab, UT. These roles require coverage during key holiday periods, including Thanksgiving (11/26–11/30/2025), Christmas (12/23–12/28/2025), and New Year’s Eve/Day (12/31/2025–1/2/2026), with an anticipated 40-hour workweek and variable scheduling aligned with pharmacy operating hours.

Schedule Highlights:

  • Monday–Saturday: 9:30 AM–8:30 PM
  • Sunday: 2:30 PM–7:30 PM
  • Holiday hours vary, including shorter shifts on designated days

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily pharmacy operations ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Manage inventory, perform audits, and coordinate medication orders
  • Apply knowledge of the federal 340B program to ensure regulatory adherence
  • Accurately dispense medications, verify prescriptions, and maintain patient records
  • Conduct medication reviews, check for drug interactions, and provide patient consultations
  • Administer immunizations per protocols
  • Address patient and customer inquiries professionally and promptly
  • Supervise and train pharmacy staff and students as applicable
  • Participate in community outreach and foster relationships with healthcare providers

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited pharmacy school
  • Current, unrestricted Utah pharmacy license including controlled substance dispensing
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and computer skills
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Willingness to engage with financial aspects of pharmacy operations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum three years retail pharmacy experience
  • APhA Immunization Certification
  • Previous pharmacy management experience
