Pharmacist in Monument, NM

A hospital in Hobbs, NM, is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join their team on a contract basis with an immediate start. This facility operates with 60 beds and utilizes EPIC and Pyxis systems, providing a dynamic environment for pharmacy professionals.

Work Schedule:

• 7 days on, 7 days off
• Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM (10-hour shifts)
• Rotation Wednesday through Tuesday

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow
• Consult with physicians and nurses to optimize patient medication plans

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience in a hospital pharmacy setting is preferred
• Must hold or be willing to obtain a New Mexico pharmacy license or temporary license
• Proficiency with EPIC and Pyxis systems is beneficial
