Pharmacist in Mosinee, WI

Seeking an experienced pharmacist for a contract role in Wisconsin focusing on hospital pharmacy care. This opportunity is ideal for candidates licensed in Wisconsin or those eligible for an Act 10 temporary license.

Location:

• Marshfield, WI
• 250-bed hospital facility

Schedule:

• 7 days on, 7 days off
• Rotating shifts between 2nd shift (12:00 PM to 10:00 PM) and 3rd shift (9:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Workweek typically begins on Wednesday

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and dispense medications accurately and efficiently within a hospital setting
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Utilize Cerner and Omnicell systems for medication management and documentation
• Adhere to hospital policies and regulatory standards related to pharmacy operations

Qualifications:

• Valid Wisconsin pharmacist license or eligibility to obtain an Act 10 temporary license
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong understanding of medication dispensing, patient safety, and inventory management
• Comfortable working rotating shifts and maintaining attention to detail during varying schedules
