Per Diem Staff Pharmacist - Mount Lemmon, AZ

An opportunity exists for experienced pharmacists to join a newly forming per diem team supporting multiple pharmacy locations in Mount Lemmon, AZ. This role suits pharmacists seeking flexible part-time work with 2-4 shifts per week, providing critical coverage during call-outs, vacations, and spikes in prescription volume.

Pharmacy operations run Monday through Saturday, typically between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m., with some locations extending to 8 p.m. While shifts are not guaranteed, your availability to step in as needed will be essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert pharmacy services supporting a daily prescription volume of 100-125.
• Work across multiple sites, including some pharmacist-only locations, meaning advanced training is crucial to success.
• Utilize QS1 pharmacy system for dispensing and records management.
• Administer immunizations as authorized.
• Participate in training sessions, including a mandatory 8-hour initial training shift, with additional training available as needed.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of retail pharmacy experience; seasoned pharmacists are preferred.
• Immunization privileges required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Comfortable working independently in pharmacist-only sites as well as with technician support.
