Per Diem Staff Pharmacist in Mount Washington, KY

This per diem opportunity is ideal for an experienced pharmacist seeking flexible hours while providing critical support in a specialty pharmacy setting. Located in Mount Washington, KY, this role focuses on delivering excellent pharmaceutical care within an HIV/AIDS specialty pharmacy environment.

Schedule/Hours:

• Wednesday, 5/13: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Thursday, 5/14: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Friday, 5/15: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Potential for 4 hours of paid training before coverage dates

Responsibilities:

• Fill and dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Verify medication orders and ensure compliance with pharmacy policies
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow and accuracy
• Provide counseling and support, especially related to HIV/AIDS medications (experience preferred)
• Utilize Pioneer Rx software for prescription management and documentation

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Valid Kentucky pharmacist license required
• Proven experience in retail pharmacy settings
• Familiarity with HIV/AIDS medications is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple duties simultaneously
