Staff Pharmacist | Moville, Iowa

A staff pharmacist position is available for a contract assignment in the Sioux City, IA area. This role features a unique 7-on, 7-off night shift schedule, providing a consistent work-life balance over a 13+ week engagement with an ASAP start date. The shift runs from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Responsibilities include verifying medication orders, supervising pharmacy technicians, managing pharmacokinetics, and consulting with physicians and nursing staff. The pharmacist will support all units within the pharmacy, with an emphasis on care for critical care unit (CCU) patients. Familiarity with EPIC and Pyxis systems is essential for success in this role.

Desired Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist with experience in hospital or clinical settings
• Experience working with critical care patients preferred
• Proficient in EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis automated dispensing systems
