Per Diem Staff Pharmacist | Muncie, Indiana

A per diem pharmacist opportunity is available at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and 340B pharmacy, supporting patient care through a range of pharmacy services. This position operates Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a daily lunch break from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. No holidays or weekend shifts are required. The engagement dates are January 29 and January 30.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare drugs and prescription orders for collection or delivery
• Oversee ordering of equipment and supplies
• Manage inventory control and monitor storage protocols for prescription drugs and controlled substances
• Verify prescription accuracy by consulting with prescribing healthcare specialists as needed
• Maintain approved drug and controlled substances lists; ensure medications are within expiry dates
• Monitor product displays and overall pharmacy appearance
• Address customer requests and complaints professionally
• Keep accurate records of inventory, patient information, and insurance claims
• Maintain retail pharmacy operations and provide telepharmacy support
• Collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager regarding pharmacy staff needs and progress
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations

Qualifications:

• Valid Indiana Pharmacist license (verified)
• Immunization license required
• Resume, skills checklist, and references must be provided
• Spanish-speaking ability is a plus
• Experience using Liberty RX software preferred
