A specialty pharmacy is seeking a licensed Pharmacist for a per diem role in the Zanesville, OH area. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to patient care by accurately dispensing medications and providing important medication counseling within a supportive healthcare environment.

Schedule:

• Wednesday, August 26, 2026: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday, September 18, 2026: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately distribute medications prescribed by physicians and other authorized healthcare practitioners.
• Provide detailed information and counseling to customers regarding the proper use, potential side effects, and storage of medications.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to meet patient and healthcare provider needs.
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Ohio Pharmacist License.
• Experience in retail pharmacy and/or long-term care pharmacy settings is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with a focus on patient education and service.
