Staff Pharmacist

Join a fast paced mail order pharmacy team supporting renal specialty patients. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced pharmacist who thrives in a high volume environment and is looking for a full time contract position with an immediate start.

Position Details

• Full time contract/contract to hire
• ASAP start
• Schedule:
  • Monday-Friday, 1:30 PM - 8:30 PM
    OR
  • Monday-Friday, 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Perform Pharmacist Verification 1 (PV1) and Pharmacist Verification 2 (PV2)
• Complete final prescription verification prior to dispensing
• Verify medication accuracy, labeling, and packaging
• Ensure prescription directions and patient information match the original prescription
• Maintain accuracy while working in a high volume production environment
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure timely and compliant prescription processing

Requirements

• Active Tennessee Pharmacist license
• 2-3 years of recent high volume pharmacist experience
• Ability to work in a mail order or specialty pharmacy environment
• Experience using WellSky pharmacy software
• Strong attention to detail, positive attitude, and ability to work efficiently in a team setting
