Soliant has an opening for a Staff Pharmacist for a 13-week local contract at a renal specialty mail order pharmacy in La Vergne, Tennessee, just outside of Nashville. This is a great opportunity for a pharmacist seeking a consistent afternoon shift schedule with no on-call requirements and no weekend work. With approximately 1,000 prescriptions filled per day, this is a high-volume operation with a focused and specialized workflow that will keep you engaged every single shift. Employment Type: Local Contract, Contract to Hire Potential
Assignment Length: 13 weeks or longer
Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM | 40 hours per week
Industry: Healthcare / Renal Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy

Responsibilities:

-Perform Pharmacist Verification 1 (PV1) function,s including order entry verification and clinical review
-Perform Pharmacist Verification 2 (PV2) functions, ns including final verification of correct medication in the bottle or box
-Verify directions and prescription information against the hard copy for accuracy and compliance
-Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in a high-volume mail-order environment
-Ensure all prescriptions are dispensed in compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
-Utilize Wellsky pharmacy order entry system for daily prescription processing

Experience:

-Retail or mail order pharmacy experience required
-Renal or specialty pharmacy experience preferred
-High volume pharmacy experience is a plus
-PV1 and PV2 verification experience preferred

Skills:

-Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in prescription verification
-Comfortable working at a high volume pace in a focused workflow environment
-Reliable and consistent on an afternoon shift schedule
-Able to work independently without automation support

Qualifications

-Active Tennessee Pharmacist License required
-Proficiency in Wellsky is preferred but not required

Education:

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy
