The position involves working in a 400-bed facility and supporting pharmacy operations through order verification, supervising pharmacy technicians, and consulting with nursing staff and physicians.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow
• Consult with nurses and physicians to provide medication guidance and answer clinical questions
• Utilize electronic systems such as EPIC and Pyxis to manage medication dispensing and documentation

Qualifications:

• Active Missouri Pharmacist license is required
• Experience with hospital pharmacy operations preferred
• Familiarity with EPIC and Pyxis systems is beneficial

Schedule:

• Variable shifts including days and afternoons
