Staff Pharmacist - New Castle, Delaware

A clinical pharmacist position is available to support medication management services in a healthcare setting, focusing on automated dispensing cabinet operations and daily cartfill processes.

Location:

• Based in New Castle, Delaware, supporting facilities at nearby hospitals.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure smooth operation and maintenance of automated dispensing cabinets in hospital environments.
• Initiate and manage the daily cartfill process, ensuring accurate and timely medication delivery.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to fulfill medication needs efficiently.
• Utilize healthcare IT systems including Cerner and Omnicell for documentation and medication management.

Qualifications:

• Must hold an active pharmacist license in the State of Delaware.
• Pharm.D. degree preferred; B.S. in Pharmacy with equivalent clinical experience considered.
• Demonstrated clinical pharmacy skills and experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with hospital pharmacy operations and automated dispensing technologies.
