A PRN Pharmacist opportunity is available to provide vacation coverage in a retail-specialty pharmacy located in Waterbury, CT. This assignment involves a short-term engagement with structured training to ensure smooth operations. Job Type: Per Diem (PRN)
Assignment Dates: May 31 – June 10
Training Dates: May 26 – May 29 (4-day training required if no prior QS1 experience)
Shift Options:

• 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and verify approximately 12 prescriptions per day
• Operate independently without technician support
• Provide patient counseling and maintain high standards of customer service
• Manage workflow efficiently within a retail-specialty pharmacy environment
• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Connecticut Pharmacist license in good standing
• Recent experience in retail or specialty pharmacy preferred
• Familiarity with QS1 pharmacy system is a plus; training provided if needed
• Ability to work independently without technician assistance
