Per Diem Staff Pharmacist | New Haven, Indiana

A per diem pharmacist opportunity is available to provide coverage supporting a specialty pharmacy managed within a health services facility. This position calls for a licensed pharmacist to perform typical retail pharmacy duties and collaborate with pharmacy technicians for an efficient workflow.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Coverage dates: March 30 through April 3

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently
• Advising patients on proper medication use and potential side effects
• Ensuring compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
• Managing inventory and pharmacy records with attention to detail
• Collaborating with pharmacy technicians and other healthcare professionals to maintain high-quality patient care

Qualifications:

• Valid Indiana pharmacist license required and must be in hand before starting
• Previous retail pharmacy experience preferred
• Familiarity with pharmacy management systems; experience with New Leaf system is a plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team

Location: This role supports the pharmacy located in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Preference is given to local candidates; however, travelers are also welcomed and compensated additionally for travel-related expenses.
