An urgent need exists for a Staff Pharmacist to support a busy retail location in Bronx, NY, following recent staffing changes. This role is a 13-week contract-to-hire opportunity designed for a pharmacist ready to step in promptly and manage daily prescription verification efficiently.

Position Details:

• Location: Bronx, NY
• Type: 13-Week Contract-to-Hire
• Setting: Retail Pharmacy
• System: BestRx
• Schedule: 4x10 hours with no weekend shifts
  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Team: Collaborate with 3 Pharmacy Technicians, 1 Delivery Person, and the Store Manager
• Prescription Volume: Approximately 200 prescriptions per day

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately check and verify prescriptions to ensure patient safety and compliance
• Maintain clear communication with team members and store management
• Follow all regulatory and company policies, with no requirement for vaccine administration

Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist in New York with an active, clear license
• Local candidates preferred for immediate availability
• New pharmacy graduates are encouraged to apply
• Retail pharmacy experience is an advantage
• Experience with BestRx system is preferred but training will be provided if needed
