Staff Pharmacist in Newark, DE

This opportunity is for a Staff Pharmacist position supporting medication management through automated dispensing cabinets at two hospital locations. The role involves ensuring accurate and efficient fulfillment of medication needs and initiating the daily cartfill processes.

Location:

• Newark, DE

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain operations for automated dispensing cabinets at specified hospital locations.
• Initiate and oversee the daily medication cartfill process.
• Utilize IT systems including Cerner and Omnicell to support pharmacy operations.
• Ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards in medication dispensing.

Qualifications:

• Pharm.D. degree or a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy with equivalent relevant experience.
• Active and current Delaware pharmacist license is required.
• Clinical pharmacy experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with healthcare teams.
