Pharmacist - Newark, NJ

A contract opportunity is available for an experienced pharmacist to support a mail order pharmacy that ships primarily to Illinois. This role requires licensure in both New Jersey and Illinois to ensure compliance with state regulations. The pharmacy specializes in dispensing products related to weight loss, hair loss, skin care solutions, and additional specialized medications.

Location: Newark, NJ
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
Hours: 20-30 hours per week
Start Date: January 2, 2025

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active pharmacist licenses in New Jersey and Illinois
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in non-sterile compounding
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when verifying prescriptions
• Familiarity with mail order pharmacy operations is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and process prescription orders efficiently and accurately
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations for both NJ and IL
• Manage and dispense specialized product lines including weight loss, hair loss, and skin care therapies
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain high-quality patient service standards
