Staff Pharmacist in Newburgh, IN

An immediate opportunity is available for a full-time Pharmacist to provide coverage during a maternity leave at a newly established 340B pharmacy affiliated with a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). This contract-to-hire role offers a unique chance to work in a collaborative environment supporting community health.

Location: Newburgh, IN
Term: 13 Weeks Contract to Hire
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• No weekends or holidays

Responsibilities:

• Conduct final medication review and checks to ensure accuracy and safety
• Provide patient counseling to promote medication adherence and understanding
• Oversee and support pharmacy technicians in daily operations
• Dispense medications according to prescription and regulatory guidelines

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active and clear Indiana Pharmacist license required
• Experience with 340B pharmacy programs highly preferred
• Familiarity or willingness to learn PioneerRX software (training provided)
• New pharmacy graduates are encouraged to apply

This position initially covers a maternity leave with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role, where you would work approximately three days per week, complementing the existing pharmacist’s schedule.
