Mail Order Staff Pharmacist | Newport, Kentucky

A contract opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to support a growing digital/mail order pharmacy specializing in non-insurance medications, including generics, some brand-name, and specialty drugs. This role requires managing a high volume of prescriptions and ensuring precise dispensing across all 50 states plus DC.

Location: Newport, KY
Type: Contract, 13 weeks
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Perform full-cycle pharmacy dispensing and fulfillment operations
• Verify prescriptions with accuracy and adherence to regulations
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow efficiency
• Adapt quickly to fast-paced volume changes and new client demands
• Collaborate effectively with team members to meet increased prescription volume

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active pharmacist license in Kentucky (pharmacists licensed in Cincinnati, OH are encouraged to verify KY licensure eligibility)
• Experience in high-volume retail pharmacy settings preferred
• Strong ability to work efficiently under pressure in a team-oriented environment
• Skilled in mail order pharmacy processes and digital dispensing
• Excellent communication and supervisory skills
