Long Term Care Pharmacist - Norristown, PA

A healthcare staffing opportunity is available for experienced Pharmacy Technicians to support long-term care pharmacy operations in the Norristown, PA area. This contract-to-hire position requires immediate availability for a fast-paced environment serving multiple vendor contracts. Candidates with at least six months of pharmacy technician experience are encouraged to apply.

Location:

• Norristown, PA (near Philadelphia and Horsham)

Schedule & Shifts:

• Various shifts available starting immediately and again in early March
• Morning shifts: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM and 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• Afternoon/evening shifts: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• Assignments include making EKits, prepack operations, and medication filling

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and fill medication orders in a fast-paced setting
• Manage specialized tasks such as EKits and prepack based on shift assignment
• Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards
• Collaborate effectively with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals

Desired Qualifications:

• Minimum of six months pharmacy technician experience
• PTCB certification preferred but not mandatory, as PA currently does not regulate pharmacy technicians
• Reliability and ability to perform effectively in various shifts
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
