Per Diem Staff Pharmacist | Norristown, Pennsylvania

An urgent need exists for two experienced per diem pharmacists to support multiple pharmacy sites in the Norristown, PA area. This opportunity is ideal for pharmacy professionals seeking flexible, part-time work hours while contributing to a team-focused environment with strong technician support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and intake prescriptions efficiently and accurately
• Dispense medications following safety protocols
• Check and verify prescription accuracy
• Manage inventory and respond to patient inquiries
• Utilize pharmacy software systems including Pioneer Rx and Rx30
• Adapt quickly to workflow changes and maintain high productivity in a fast-paced setting

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a high-volume pharmacy setting
• Familiarity with automation systems and dispensing robots preferred
• Proficient in using pharmacy software platforms and technology
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to work collaboratively
• Licensed to practice pharmacy in Pennsylvania

Schedule and Location:

• Per diem role, primarily supporting shifts such as Monday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. starting February 16
• Work across multiple sites including Capsule, RiteChoice Rx, AbsoluteCare, and Cardinal Health locations
• Flexibility to provide semi-regular coverage in addition to other part-time commitments
