Per Diem Staff Pharmacist | North Vernon, Indiana

A Per Diem Pharmacist opportunity is available for a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and 340B pharmacy in North Vernon, IN, supporting June coverage. This role involves working Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm with a lunch break from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. There are no holiday or weekend shifts required. Scheduled dates include June 11, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18, and 19. Pharmacy operations utilize Liberty RX software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare drugs and prescription orders for patient collection or delivery.
• Oversee ordering and management of pharmacy equipment and supplies.
• Control and monitor inventory, including verification of drug expiry dates.
• Apply best practice protocols for storage of prescription drugs and controlled substances.
• Verify prescription details with prescribing healthcare professionals as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, patient data, and insurance claims.
• Monitor pharmacy environment, including product displays and cleanliness.
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
• Support telepharmacy services and collaborate closely with the Pharmacy Manager.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Maintain retail pharmacy operations.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Indiana Pharmacist license (verified).
• Immunization license required.
• Completed resume and skills checklist; references available.
• Spanish language skills are a plus but not required.
