Staff Pharmacist | O Fallon, Missouri

A healthcare facility in St Charles, MO, is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to provide staff coverage in an inpatient behavioral health setting. This contract position plays a vital role in ensuring safe and effective medication management for patients during the specified coverage dates.

Location: St Charles, MO
Setting: Inpatient / Behavioral Health
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (includes 30-minute unpaid meal break)
Assignment Dates: August 6, 7, and August 10 through 14

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently according to prescriptions and protocols
• Perform medication repackaging using Milt/Medi-dose or HCL systems
• Manage and restock automated medication machines, including running restock reports
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and facility policies
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize pharmaceutical care

Qualifications

• Current Missouri pharmacist license required
• Experience with Omnicell automated medication systems preferred
• Skilled in medication repackaging processes such as Milt, Medi-dose, or HCL
• Basic knowledge of automated drug dispensing machines and inventory management
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently within a clinical team
