Staff Pharmacist | O Fallon, Missouri

Provide critical pharmacist coverage within an inpatient behavioral health setting, supporting medication management and patient safety during specified dates. This role demands attention to detail, familiarity with pharmacy automation, and the ability to work efficiently in a clinical environment.

Location:

• St Charles, MO

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (30-minute unpaid meal break)
• Coverage needed on 8/6, 8/7, and from 8/10 through 8/14

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate dispensing and distribution of medications in an inpatient behavioral health facility
• Utilize automation systems such as Omnicell for medication management
• Perform repackaging tasks using Milt/Medi-dose or HCL technologies
• Load drugs into automated machines and run restock reports regularly
• Maintain compliance with state regulations and facility protocols
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize pharmaceutical care

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Missouri Pharmacist License required
• Experience with Omnicell automation preferred
• Proficient in repackaging medications using Milt/Medi-dose or HCL systems highly desirable
• Basic knowledge of automated medication dispensing systems and inventory management
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment
