Provide expert pharmacy services in a dynamic compounding pharmacy focused on both non-sterile and an upcoming sterile compounding launch. This role supports the seamless integration of sterile compounding operations while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. The position is based in Florida with a contract opportunity commencing immediately, featuring a training day prior to start.
Location:
- Florida (Opa Locka area)
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Training session on July 16
- Coverage starting July 17
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure strict adherence to state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations
- Support the launch of sterile compounding operations alongside existing non-sterile compounding processes
- Review and improve policies, procedures, and quality standards relevant to compounding pharmacy services
- Collaborate closely with pharmacy leadership to optimize operational workflows
- Provide necessary pharmacist coverage during standard business hours
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Florida Pharmacist License required
- Experience in pharmacy start-ups is strongly preferred
- Background in sterile or non-sterile compounding highly desirable; retail experience also considered
- Willingness to participate in compounding training if needed
- Strong regulatory knowledge and attention to detail
