A reputable healthcare facility in the Auburn/Opelika area is seeking 2-3 experienced travel pharmacists to support their inpatient pharmacy operations. This opportunity offers a contract position with flexibility, ideal for those who thrive in dynamic hospital settings.

Location:

• Auburn/Opelika area, Alabama

Schedule:

• Days, Monday through Friday
• Shift start times vary between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM, ending around 4:30 PM

Role Responsibilities:

• Verify and dispense medications accurately, ensuring patient safety
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to optimize pharmaceutical care
• Handle medication order review primarily involving non-sterile preparations; sterile compounding skills are beneficial but not required
• Utilize Cerner IT system for medication management and documentation
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist in Alabama
• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Knowledge of Cerner pharmacy systems preferred
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills

Contract Details:

• Typical engagement spans a solid 13-plus weeks, with time-to-time shorter assignments possible
• Immediate availability highly desirable
