Retail Staff Pharmacist in Owatonna, MN

A specialty pharmacy located in Waseca, MN is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist for a 13+ week contract opportunity. This role offers the chance to support long-term care pharmacy services in a well-established setting, working approximately 24 to 40 hours per week with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule and some weekend shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Provide pharmaceutical care and medication management for long-term care patients
• Ensure accuracy in dispensing and counseling on prescription medications
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and policies
• Participate in immunization administration as needed

Qualifications:

• PharmD degree preferred
• Immunization certification required
• CPR certification strongly preferred
• Experience or certification in Medication Therapy Management (MTM) is a plus
• Previous experience as a retail or specialty pharmacist, especially in long-term care, highly desirable
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm
• Some weekend shifts required
• Flexible hours ranging from 24 to 40 per week
