Staff Pharmacist - Owingsville, KY

A fast-paced retail pharmacy in Mount Sterling, Kentucky is seeking a full-time Staff Pharmacist to provide expert pharmaceutical care and ensure smooth daily operations. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a strong and supportive team in a busy environment dispensing approximately 3,000 prescriptions weekly.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately verify and process prescriptions using PioneerRx system
• Provide patient counseling and address medication-related inquiries
• Oversee pharmacy workflow and support pharmacy technicians
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Deliver excellent customer service to patients and staff
• Assist with Saturday coverage approximately 1 to 2 times per month as scheduled

Qualifications:

• Active Kentucky Pharmacist license in good standing is required
• Recent retail pharmacy experience in a high-volume setting preferred
• Experience with PioneerRx software is an advantage
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Flexibility to cover Saturdays as needed

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (4 weekdays per week)
• Saturday coverage 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, 1 to 2 times per month
