This role involves working as an outpatient pharmacist within a large, respected county health department hospital that supports numerous ambulatory care and outpatient clinics.

Location: Palmdale, CA
Job Type: Contract (Potential for Permanent Placement)
Schedule: 8-hour day shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert outpatient pharmacy services in a hospital setting, ensuring accuracy and patient safety
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy for outpatient populations
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
• Support pharmacy operations during the contract assignment with a focus on quality and efficiency

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Current pharmacist license and credentials
• Approximately 2 years of recent inpatient or retail/outpatient pharmacy experience preferred
• PGY-1 residency completion highly desired
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to pass a competency exam on first attempt
• Ability to comply with onboarding requirements including background LiveScan clearance
