Staff Pharmacist - Perkins, OK

This position calls for a licensed pharmacist ready to work night shifts in a hospital environment. The assignment is a 13-week contract starting immediately and located in Stillwater, OK. The role involves a blend of clinical responsibilities and team leadership within an established healthcare setting.

Schedule:

• 7pm to 7am shifts
• Work seven consecutive nights followed by seven days off (Wed-Tues rotation)

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians ensuring compliance and quality
• Manage pharmacokinetics assessments and dosing adjustments
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient care
• Utilize Meditech electronic health records for documentation and communication

Qualifications:

• Valid Oklahoma pharmacist license is required
• Willingness and availability to work night shifts
• Experience with order verification, medication management, and staff supervision
• Familiarity with pharmacokinetics principles and clinical pharmacy practice
• Proficient with electronic medical record systems, preferably Meditech
