Staff Pharmacist | Perkins, Oklahoma

A night shift pharmacist position is available in Stillwater, OK for a 13-week contract assignment starting immediately. This role requires working 12-hour shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am on a Wednesday through Tuesday schedule, followed by 7 days off.

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders to ensure accuracy and safety
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians throughout shifts
• Manage pharmacokinetics services for patient care optimization
• Collaborate and consult with physicians and nursing staff to address medication-related needs
• Utilize Meditech information technology systems for documentation and workflow

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Pharmacist license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy
• Willingness to work night shift hours consistently
• Previous experience in hospital or clinical pharmacy settings preferred
• Strong communication and leadership abilities to oversee technician activities and interact professionally with healthcare teams
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, especially Meditech, is a plus
