This opportunity is ideal for a licensed pharmacist ready to take on a night shift role in a hospital setting. The position requires expertise in order verification, supervising pharmacy technicians, pharmacokinetics, and collaborating closely with physicians and nurses to ensure optimal patient care. Experience with Meditech IT systems is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Supervise and support pharmacy technicians during shifts
- Apply pharmacokinetics principles to patient care
- Consult with physicians and nursing staff to optimize medication therapy
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid pharmacist license in Oklahoma
- Willingness to work night shifts
- Proficient with Meditech or ability to quickly learn the system
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
Location: Perry, OK (Night shift position near Stillwater, OK)
Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
- Work 7 consecutive nights followed by 7 days off
- Wednesday through Tuesday rotation
