Staff Pharmacist | Perry, Oklahoma

A community hospital north of Oklahoma City is seeking a dedicated pharmacist to fill a night shift position with potential for permanent placement. This role offers the opportunity to work in a close-knit 100-bed hospital environment, providing critical pharmaceutical care to support patient outcomes.

Location:

• Perry, OK (approximately 1 to 1.5 hours north of Oklahoma City)

Schedule:

• Nights, 7 days on / 7 days off

Key Responsibilities:

• Order verification to ensure accuracy and safety of medication distribution
• Supervising pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow
• Applying pharmacokinetics principles for individualized patient care
• Consulting with physicians and nursing staff to optimize medication therapy
• Supporting hospital medication management within a Meditech IT system environment

Qualifications:

• Active Oklahoma pharmacist license required
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong clinical knowledge and communication skills
• Commitment to a long-term, permanent or temp-to-hire role is highly desired
