Mail Order Staff Pharmacist - Phoenix, Arizona

An established mail order pharmacy in the Scottsdale area seeks two checking/verifying pharmacists for contract-to-hire opportunities. This role requires a highly efficient pharmacist with strong attention to detail, adaptability, and excellent multitasking abilities to meet the demands of a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately check, verify, count, dispense, and label medications
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations
• Maintain a safe, compliant, and clean pharmacy in accordance with Arizona Board of Pharmacy regulations
• Adapt to varying shifts between 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM and 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, with potential Saturday coverage

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Arizona pharmacist license is mandatory
• Ability to complete 60-80 prescription checks per hour, maintaining accuracy under pressure
• Must stand for extended periods throughout the shift
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Dependability, punctuality, and accountability in all work tasks
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment

This contract assignment starts immediately and runs for 13 weeks with potential transition to permanent placement. Flexibility in shift scheduling and availability for occasional Saturdays is essential.
