Staff Pharmacist - Pickerington, OH

A healthcare facility in Pickerington, OH, seeks two licensed pharmacists for inpatient hospital pharmacy roles on a contract basis from late May through mid-August 2026. This opportunity requires strong clinical skills and the ability to manage medication verification and compounding oversight in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify inpatient medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Provide oversight for sterile, non-sterile, and hazardous compounding processes
• Respond to and participate in medical codes as necessary
• Support nursing and provider staff with medication management guidance
• Dispense medications and provide patient education when needed
• Collaborate effectively with pharmacy technicians who assist with medication preparation and delivery

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Ohio Pharmacist license required
• Demonstrated inpatient hospital experience
• Proficiency or willingness to train on Cerner (EHR) and Pyxis (Automated Dispensing Cabinets)
• Knowledge of pharmacotherapy, antibiotic and renal dosing principles
• Experience with Computerized Provider Order Entry (CPOE) verification
• Strong time management and prioritization skills

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Coverage includes every 6th weekend
