Staff Pharmacist - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Setting: Retail Pharmacy
Schedule/Hours:

• 20-24 hours per week
• Vacation coverage required
• Pharmacy hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (closed on weekends)
• Shift options: 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM or 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Peak workload times between 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense approximately 300 prescriptions daily
• Provide expert patient counseling and medication management
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety standards
• Utilize pharmacy system to manage prescriptions efficiently
• Collaborate with pharmacy team to deliver seamless services, including vacation coverage

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Previous retail pharmacy experience is essential
• Familiarity with Pioneer Rx pharmacy system highly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Ability to manage workload effectively during busy hours
