Provide essential retail pharmacy services as a Staff Pharmacist delivering safe and effective medication dispensing under direct supervision. This per diem role supports retail operations in Washington, Pennsylvania, with a focus on patient counseling and medication management.
Location: Washington, Pennsylvania
Schedule:
- 1st Shift
- 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Starting August 7th
Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications accurately and safely, ensuring compliance with organizational and legal standards
- Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and proper regimens
- Address and resolve patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally
- Maintain pharmacy stock, including controlled substances and accurate inventory records
- Clarify and assist with third-party insurance coverage issues to facilitate patient access
Desired Qualifications:
- Active and clear Pharmacist license in Pennsylvania
- Minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy experience
- Proficient with Pioneer pharmacy software or similar systems
- Strong communication skills and patient-focused approach
