Staff Pharmacist - Pomeroy, Ohio

A mail order pharmacy in Athens, Ohio is seeking a licensed Pharmacist (RPh) with flexibility for either part-time or full-time work. This role is ideal for pharmacists who prefer a verification-centered position with limited direct patient interaction and enjoy maintaining quality and compliance in a mail order setting.

Responsibilities include:

• Accurately verifying prescriptions to ensure patient safety
• Ensuring full compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Overseeing dispensing workflows specific to mail order pharmacy operations
• Maintaining detailed documentation and upholding quality assurance standards
• Collaborating with pharmacy staff to facilitate timely and accurate order fulfillment

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Sunday: Closed
• Flexible scheduling options available within operating hours for part-time or full-time availability

Qualifications:

• Active Ohio Pharmacist license in good standing
• No history of negative licensure actions
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work efficiently within the unique requirements of a mail order pharmacy
• Previous experience in prescription verification preferred
