A retail pharmacy opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist to join a dynamic team focused on excellent customer service and collaborative work. This position is based in Rathdrum, ID, offering a contract-to-hire arrangement with the potential for full-time employment.

Location:

  • Rathdrum, ID

Schedule:

  • 1st Shift
  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Rotating Saturdays, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Saturday shifts allow for either Thursday or Friday off)
  • Full-time hours until February 24th, then 30 hours per week

Responsibilities include:

  • Verifying prescription accuracy and appropriateness
  • Providing patient counseling and medication guidance
  • Supervising pharmacy technicians and supporting efficient workflow in a high-volume setting (300-400 prescriptions per day)
  • Collaborating closely with a team that includes two pharmacists, three technicians, and one cashier
  • Utilizing the Pioneer pharmacy system for daily operations
  • Emphasizing excellent customer service and teamwork in all interactions

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active and clear Idaho pharmacist license
  • Previous pharmacy experience in a retail setting
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to supervise and lead pharmacy technicians effectively
  • Updated resume with skills checklist and professional references

Contract-to-hire details:

  • Initial 13-week contract with conversion to permanent status
  • Upon full-time hire, benefits include:
