Inpatient Hospital Staff Pharmacist in Quincy, MA

An opportunity is available for an Interim Pharmacy Manager/Director to oversee pharmacy operations within a hospital setting. This position requires a dynamic leader capable of managing inpatient pharmacy services and providing staffing support as needed. The role offers a contract duration of 3+ months with an immediate start date.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of the inpatient pharmacy ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards
• Provide leadership and direction to pharmacy staff to optimize workflow and patient care
• Coordinate staffing needs, including scheduling and coverage for pharmacy personnel as required
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to support pharmaceutical services and initiatives
• Monitor inventory, medication safety, and dispensing practices within the hospital pharmacy

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Massachusetts Pharmacy License
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in hospital pharmacy preferred
• Proven management experience in a pharmacy setting is essential
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt quickly and lead in a fast-paced hospital environment
