A regional 300-bed medical center in North Carolina is seeking a skilled night shift pharmacist for a contract opportunity with a strong potential for extension or temp-to-hire conversion. This role offers a unique schedule of 9 PM to 7:30 AM, working 7 days on followed by 7 days off, ideal for professionals seeking concentrated work periods.

Location:

• Lumberton area, NC (conveniently situated between Charlotte and Wilmington, near Fayetteville)

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately to ensure patient safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and coordinate workflow
• Provide pharmaceutical consultation to physicians and nursing staff
• Manage pharmacokinetics and dosing adjustments
• Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems for medication management

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active North Carolina pharmacist license required
• Proven experience as a sole inpatient pharmacist, with strong clinical skills
• Familiarity with hospital pharmacy operations and technology (EPIC, Pyxis)
• Ability to work independently and manage all pharmacy responsibilities during night shifts

Schedule:

• Night shift: 9 PM to 7:30 AM
• Work 7 consecutive days followed by 7 days off (Thursday through Wednesday cycle)
