Staff Pharmacist - Rathdrum, ID

A well-established retail pharmacy in Rathdrum, ID, is seeking a Part-Time Staff Pharmacist for a day shift position. This contract to hire role offers an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated team focused on quality patient care and outstanding customer service.

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Rotating Saturdays, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Off Thursday or Friday when working Saturday)

Work Environment:

• Collaborate with 3 pharmacy technicians, 2 pharmacists, and 1 cashier
• Utilize the Pioneer pharmacy system
• Manage a prescription volume of 300 – 400 scripts per day

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately verify prescription orders
• Provide clear patient counseling and answer medication-related questions
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians in daily operations
• Maintain high standards of customer service and teamwork

Qualifications:

• Active and clear pharmacist license in Idaho
• Previous pharmacy experience in a retail setting
• Strong communication and patient service skills
• Updated resume, skills checklist, and professional references

This role begins as a 13-week contract with potential to convert to full-time employment.
